The Affordable Care Act is perhaps the most sweeping reform in the history of our nation’s health care system. Thanks to support from community organizations, more than 12.7 million people signed up for health insurance coverage through the Marketplace. Be Covered is working to help consumers understand how to use their insurance, how to live healthy lives and help people without coverage enroll come fall. We need your help to make sure people get the most of their new insurance so they can stay healthy and get the care they need.
Be Covered is a grassroots campaign working to increase the health and welfare of community members by helping them understand how to use their new insurance and assist those who still need coverage prepare for the next enrollment period. The campaign provides user-friendly information and on-the-ground guidance to help families use their insurance to stay healthy and get the care they need. We work with community-based organizations and partners, large and small, to reach people where they live, work, learn, worship, text and tweet. The campaign will join with partners to educate their members, offer resources linking families to services and to help the community Be Covered.
